We would like to share an exciting news. Our co-founder and CEO, Dr. Gary Wang is receiving the distinction as Distinguished Professor at SFU (Simon Fraser Univ., BC, Canada) beginning 1 July 2022 for a five-year term. Each year, SFU goes through a rigorous process to select 8-9 award recipients from nominations across all its faculties. Among the citing, “…he is the most cited scholar worldwide in the area of Intelligent Optimization, and his research lab is recognized as one of the world’s top labs in the field of design optimization…”. This adds to a stream of recognitions over the years including 2005 National I.W. Smith award for creative engineering from the Canadian Society for Mechanical Engineering (CSME), as well as an elected Fellow of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) in 2013.
